I do however feel like they are just not moisturizing, and they do dry out my lips a slight bit. Like all lip pencils should, they elongate the wear time of my lipstick by a good amount of time.

I love Mac Lip pencils for how creamy and pigmented they are !. Im sure you will be able to find a similar shade in Nyx or Chambor. It is a Warm, toffee color and even though Mac describes this shade as a pink cinnamon stick the pink is really not that obvious! Spice is the kind of color that most indian girls can just throw on with their everyday pinky brown lipsticks, and duskier girls can sport as a lovely nude lip pencil! Me thinks if you want a versatile lip liner to go with your nudes, browns and even very light pinks then our “Versatile Spice” will sing just the right song for your lips! It will obviously not work with a brighter pink or red, but you cant have everything now can you! It is a shade though, that i dont think will be very hard to find a dupe of. Spice is an apt name for this Mac Lip Pencil because the color is like that of cinnamon (Mmmm Cinnamon yumm). I think it’s a shade that would be universally flattering. It’s a little drying and does settle into fine lines which is why I deducted half a point off the score, but it’s so close to a 5 because of its amazing color payoff, pigmentation, lasting power and incredible shade. I don’t normally fall in love with lipsticks because I can never find the right shade, or it looks strange on me, either too pinky, too mauve, too plum… there’s always something significantly off about it, but I would really recommend this one. I love NYX Mauve lip liner, it’s a similar color as Brave, but in a warmer, more mauve-y shade. It’s such a beautiful color, and when layered over a lip liner, can transform into a different tone of pink/mauve. This really goes great with the 90’s lip trend that’s been circling the Instagramlands.
This is what the packaging and lipstick looks like: The pigmentation is just good enough to where there isn’t an intense crazy amount of color, but enough to layer until you reach your desired intensity.
The lasting power is good, extending for about 3-4 hours before beginning to wear off. It’s a satin finish, but it seems more like a matte to me. Today, we are talking about this beautiful lipstick by MAC, I’d describe it as a pink/mauve with a slight purple undertone. I did order MAC’s Brave, though, along with Spice lip liner, but that’s on backorder so I won’t be receiving it anytime soon unfortunately, but when I do, there will be a review! Hey everybody!
